Today was another great day halter training Cara, using some barley, I managed to coax the halter onto her. Once it was on she was quite happy to walk around with me, I tied her up in a few places and left her for 30 minutes at a time to get her used to it and she seemed pretty comfortable.

Chris done a bit of grooming on her and she got a nice treat of some nuts and barley. I think she is pretty heavy at the moment and her udder is bigger than last week, its definitely getting a more defined shape. I really need to get in the habit of halter training her as often as possible, because as soon as she calves it will be a different story and may be harder to control her so we need to get in the ground work now.
