Some extra hens

I was getting feed and supplies in the local co-op when I saw an add for 1 year old hybrid hens that were only €2.50 each. I have started selling some surplus eggs to friends and family so the extra hens would come in handy. I called the lady and took a trip down to see her. She keeps around 50 organic fed hens and because they start to slow down laying after a year old she sells them on and gets new young pullets. I decided to take 10 birds and she gave them to me for free.
