Cocks fighting

We moved the big coop down from the front lawn to the orchard this morning.

The jersey giant cocks usually just roam around the whole farm but this morning they were in the orchard when we arrived with the coop. When I opened it up the cookoo marran jumped out and started squaring up to the jersey giant, they really went for it, puffing up their neck feathers. It really was spectacular to see them at it but eventually the jersey giant gave up and ran away.

So now the orchard has the two coops, one at each end and when I looked inside at locking up time they were all in their own coops...
