Goats and likely due date for kids

Clipped all the goats feet yesterday, Jar Jar has been limping a little. The bottom of her pad on her front right foot is split and cracked. I trimmed her feet and sprayed with a little foot spray and will leave her in doors for a few days.

I have been looking at the dates they were served with the buck and a likely due date for Jar Jar is the 6th May and Darcy is the 7th May. Probably 6 weeks later than I wanted but I was trying to see when they were in heat and trying to work out their cycle. I was going to drive them up and down to the buck on the same day.

For next year if I want to do the whole same day up and down I need to get hold of a billy rag, its basically a piece of cloth that has some urine from a rutting buck goat on it. This is placed near the doe goats and the smell of it brings them into heat therefore making it easier to see when they are in heat.
