Busy bees

It's hard to believe its the 25th of October and the bees are as busy as they were back in July & August. The car was reading 18 degrees when I was out and about earlier on.

I have one nuc that was too small to overwinter in a hive so I thought it would have been perfect in the nuc until the spring but it has run out of space. Any beekeeper would tell you its crazy to even consider hiving up a nuc a few days short of November? The mild autumn and super ivy flow has resulted in all hives having plenty of stores and some far more than they could ever use.
